Sci-fi Rifle Concept



I learned three key hard surface techniques in this project which were the use of radial arrays which allowed me to create circular arrayed objects, the use of array cutters to make the ruts of the barrel, and concept of cutting cutters. In addition, I learned a couple other methods for fixing shading problems especially with circular boolean cuts
I modeled this sci-fi themed gun in Blender and used the following Blender
add-ons: Boxcutter, HardOps, and Decal Machine based off of a tutorial. The design used the MAD-T workflow using n-gons heavily. I initially modeled the grip and stock of the weapon, modeled the double barrel - and finally modeled the scope.
